چکیده
Abstract Purpose To explore the methane production potential and microbial community changes of combined anaerobic digestion chicken manure corn straw. Increase production, reduce environmental pollution caused by burning livestock straw, provide some theoretical references for construction operation actual biogas projects. Methods Different proportions (3%, 5%, 10%) straw were added to systems in order improve C/N ratio evaluate feasibility synergistic effect on co-digestion. The key point was use 16S rDNA sequencing analyze relationship between diversity hydrolase activity during digestion. Result results showed that volumetric gas 3% addition group 227.66 ml/gVS, which 18% higher than cumulative pure experimental group. However, with increase concentration, utilization rate raw materials continued decrease. change each agreement hydrolytic acidifying bacteria, main also increased straw; correlation coefficient 0.9943. Sequencing dominant strains methanogenic archaea Methanosarcina , Methanosaeta Methanobacterium Methanospirillum . Mainly hydrogen-eating, acetic acid-eating methanogens, its role is H 2 methanol acid, other substances metabolize methane, convert it into CH 4 CO Conclusion a small amount enhanced capacity hydrogen-nutritive extent, species richness evenness improved, reducing environment while controlling burning. Characterization of microbial community structure during continuous anaerobic digestion of straw and cow manure
Responses of bacterial and archaeal communities to the addition of straw during anaerobic digestion of manure at different temperatures (37°C, 44°C and 52°C) were investigated using five laboratory-scale semi-continuous stirred tank reactors. The results revealed that including straw as co-substrate decreased the species richness for bacteria, whereas increasing the operating temperature decrea...
متن کاملEffects of dairy manure and corn stover co-digestion on anaerobic microbes and corresponding digestion performance.
This study investigated the effects of corn stover as a supplemental feed on anaerobic digestion of dairy manure under different hydraulic retention times (HRT). The results elucidated that both HRT and corn stover supplement significantly influenced microbial community and corresponding anaerobic digestion performance. The highest biogas production of 497 mL per gram total solid loading per da...
متن کاملEffects of Temperature and Carbon-Nitrogen (C/N) Ratio on the Performance of Anaerobic Co-Digestion of Dairy Manure, Chicken Manure and Rice Straw: Focusing on Ammonia Inhibition
Anaerobic digestion is a promising alternative to disposal organic waste and co-digestion of mixed organic wastes has recently attracted more interest. This study investigated the effects of temperature and carbon-nitrogen (C/N) ratio on the performance of anaerobic co-digestion of dairy manure (DM), chicken manure (CM) and rice straw (RS). We found that increased temperature improved the metha...
متن کاملAnaerobic slurry co-digestion of poultry manure and straw: effect of organic loading and temperature
In order to obtain basic design criteria for anaerobic digestion of a mixture of poultry manure and wheat straw, the effects of different temperatures and organic loading rates on the biogas yield and methane contents were evaluated. Since poultry manure is a poor substrate, in term of the availability of the nutrients, external supplementation of carbon has to be regularly performed, in order ...
متن کاملMass and Energy Balances of Dry Thermophilic Anaerobic Digestion Treating Swine Manure Mixed with Rice Straw
To evaluate the feasibility of swine manure treatment by a proposed Dry Thermophilic Anaerobic Digestion (DT-AD) system, we evaluated the methane yield of swine manure treated using a DT-AD method with rice straw under different C/N ratios and solid retention time (SRT) and calculated the mass and energy balances when the DT-AD system is used for swine manure treatment from a model farm with 10...
